This time the 四字熟語 is relatively simple. Taken from a very interesting article about McDonald’s Ramen.  Yup.

This week’s 四字熟語 is 正真正銘。

I found this while roaming news websites.  From an article about McDonald’s Ramen, available only in Hawaii:

これはネタとか嘘とかではなく、本当に「正真正銘のラーメン」が売られているらしい。

Breakin’ it Down

正 – しょう correct

真 – しん   true; reality

銘 – めい – inscription; signature

This 四字熟語 is used to show something is true, genuine, or authentic.

The real deal.

The definition given over at the Japanese Yahoo Online Dictionary is as follows: うそ偽りの全くないこと。本物であること。
