I love reading, so much so that I originally made a typo when writing the title: “Read Another Reading Challenge”. I also like challenges. It’s one of the many reasons I took up Japanese in the first place.
But this one is waaay more intense than any of my other previous challenges, uh, challenge.
the goal
Read all the books I checked-out from the school library.
The goal has since changed. Read about why here.
the deadline
December 17th, the day these books are all due for return.
the books
(282 pages)
(446 pages)
(259, 268, 284 pages, respectively)
(189 pages)
2005~2009 by various authors (260 pages)
(297 pages)
(664 pages!!!)
9 books. 2,949 pages… I think.
In less than 3 Months.
It’ll be the most book reading I’ve ever done in such a short period.
Why is this a challenge?
Because I do a lot of reading, but it is often on the net.
I use books as my reading while walking to class or riding a train. I almost never read books while sitting in my room. That’s time for variety shows, net surfing, dramas, and DIVINA{{1}}
Needless to say, I don’t really do any speed runs. Until now!
Also these will be the longest books I’ve ever read in Japanese.
But it’s okay because I can’t wait to start Level 7. It looks so intense.
Actually all the books are pretty intense.
In fact, these books are so intense that I got a paper cut from trying to take them off my shelf.
Intense.
